Ushnotar Chhaya

For many of us, winter seems to be the best time of the year as the season appears with a foggy environment and various types pithas as our breakfast or snack items along with a hot mug of tea or coffee. On the flip side, there are people living in the same society for whom the season comes with a bunch of sufferings. They lack warm clothes and fail to protect themselves from cold. These people cannot afford what they need to enjoy the season with their family members. While we are a country of more than 16 crore population, almost the majority here fall under the list of underprivileged people. Bearing them in mind, Youth Movements comes up with its project Ushnotar Chaya. This aims at providing warm clothes and blankets to the underprivileged people during winter. We try to ensure their safety during this season, and try to make sure that they don’t suffer in a wonderful season like winter.
